REGULATION
What they claim:
As weird as this may seem, InvestXE claims to have been regulated by the regulators of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Furthermore, it openly claims that it is based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
What we found:
As you might already know, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is famous as an offshore broker and does not have a regulator. Therefore, the statement provided by investxe.com that they have a license from the regulator of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines proves that the company is unregulated. Furthermore, upon research, it was found that the company is actually based in the Commonwealth of Dominica. This certainly proves that InvestXE is up to something fishy.
LEVERAGE
What they claim:
InvestXE claims to offer the best leverage possible to their customers depending on the account type they are on.
What they found:
InvestXE offers leverage up to 1:300 to their customers. For those who don’t know, huge leverages such as what InvestXE offers is actually harmful to the customers as it can increase their chance of losing in the trade. Therefore, this poses yet another red flag in this InvestXE review.
BLACKLISTED
What they claim:
Just as any scam broker would claim InvestXE also claims to have a squeaky clean record with years of experience in the market.
What we found:
Upon doing a little background check on InvestXE, we found out that CONSOB has blacklisted InvestXE. CONSOB, the official regulator of Italy has issued a statement against InvestXE stating that the company does not have a license and is a potential scam.
MINIMUM DEPOSIT
What they claim:
InvestXE states on their website that the minimum deposit claimed by them is reasonable and depends on the account that the customer has opted for as premium accounts will need higher amounts as minimum deposits.
What we found:
InvestXE demands a minimum deposit of $5000 which is almost 1000 times more than what is usually demanded by regulated brokerage firms.
Is it safe to trade with InvestXE?
No, InvestXE is clearly an unregulated brokerage firm and therefore is a potential scam. One must never trade with any unregulated brokerage firm as there is no security of your funds in such cases.
